Denita Smith is a compassionate trailblazer who has dedicated her life to lifting the underdog. Born and raised in Springfield, Denita moved to Dayton to pursue her passion for helping others, first as a medical receptionist and then as a case manager.
Now, as the matriarch of her family of four, Denita has taken her care and advocacy to the next level as the co-founder of the Hawes Clark Foundation. Inspired by a shared vision with her business partner Joshua Hawes, Denita is on a mission to empower the Dayton community and ensure that no one has to face life's challenges alone.
